Terms of use
Short and in plain English: the tools are free, what you make with them is yours, and the optional extras — cloud processing, accounts, saved files — come with the few common-sense rules below.
Using the site
EditorsTab is free to use, for anything, including commercial work, with no account required. On-device processing has no usage limit. Cloud processing has a fair daily allowance per visitor, shown in the app. You do not owe us attribution.
What you make is yours
We claim no rights over anything you produce here. In on-device mode we never receive your files at all; in cloud mode we process and immediately discard them, and we never use them for anything else.
Every AI model on this site is open source under a licence that permits commercial use — MIT, Apache-2.0 or BSD-3-Clause. The full list is on the licences page.
Accounts and PRO
Accounts are optional and free. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account. PRO is currently enabled per account rather than sold — there is no payment to make and therefore nothing to refund. PRO features (like saving files online) may change as the service grows; your downloaded files are always yours regardless.
Saved files (My Files)
Files you explicitly save online are stored for you until you delete them or your account is deleted. Storage has a per-account limit shown in the app. Don't use it to store unlawful material — that's grounds for removal of the files and the account.
Fair use of cloud processing
The cloud allowance exists so everyone gets a fast first run. Don't script against it, resell it, or try to route around the limits; we may throttle or block abusive traffic to keep the service up for everyone.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the files you process and for what you do with the results. In particular, do not use these tools to edit images you have no right to use, to create material that misrepresents a real person, or for anything unlawful where you are.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”. AI models produce imperfect results: a cut-out may clip an edge, a colourised photo invents plausible colours rather than recovering real ones, and a passport-photo preset is a helpful starting point rather than a guarantee of acceptance by any authority. Always check the output before relying on it.
On-device results also depend on your device and browser. Some tools require features that older browsers do not have; where that is the case the tool will tell you rather than fail silently.
Keep your own copies
Unless you are a PRO user who explicitly saved a result to My Files, nothing is saved on our side. If you close the tab without downloading your result, it is gone — there is no history to recover it from.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, including lost work, lost data, or a result that did not meet your expectations.
Availability
We may change, add or remove tools, quotas and features at any time, and the site may be unavailable from time to time. If you have an account you can stop using it at any point; email us to have it and everything attached to it deleted.
